Welcome to the Food intolerance and Candida clinic
We help patients with food intolerances testing all over the UK and provide Candida tests to help with yeast infections including Geotrichum Species. We specialise in using the very latest advances in food intolerance and candida testing and in functional medicine to help people suffering from long-standing problems which are hard to explain.
We have been helping people with their health and medical problems since 1989 and established the Food intolerance and Candida clinic in 1999.
Our practice was runner-up in the 2009 CAM Awards for Outstanding Practice.
We see patients in the UK in our clinics in Central London, 5 minutes from Harley Street. We also offer consultations in Sussex and Oxford, but can also help people living elsewhere by means of postal/telephone/email consultations once they have filled in the three questionnaires that we use.
If you are seeking information on IBS, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, or intestinal parasites please visit the website of our sister organisation, the IBS and Gut Disorder Centre. This clinic also has branches in London, Sussex and Oxford. If you have Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis>.
Over the years we have been able to help patients with many chronic conditions and symptoms to which they have not been able to find an answer from their GP. A major reason for this is that many of these symptoms are caused either by Candida and other yeast infections or by hidden food intolerances, which can be very subtle and hard to detect.
These include eczema, asthma, acne, psoriasis, IBS, migraine, fatigue, PMT, arthritis, joint pains and stiffness, sinus problems and all those symptoms often present in someone who is not quite well; variability of bowel function, itching, mental confusion and inability to think clearly, etc. There are also proven links with Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, multiple sclerosis and depression.
In addition to improving our patients’ symptoms, we also try and give them a lifelong understanding as to what has caused their health problems in the first place and what to do to prevent them from returning.
The common ailments listed below are also particularly amenable to treatment by Functional Medecine

- Childhood eczema

A practitioner experienced in nutritional therapy can often pinpoint exactly what is going on and treat the root cause, not just the symptoms.
Please feel free to take a look through the articles listed below. All have been published in national magazines and contain case studies from the our Candida clinic in London and Oxford. Michael Franklin sadly passed away in November 2014. However Victoria Tyler continues to see patients in London and world-wide. Please take the time to read some articles, The Real Causes of IBS, this was the cover story in the latest issue of Positive Health Magazine.
Functional medicine is the medicine of the future. If you choose it now you have a good chance of replacing poor health with brilliant health - the sort of health and energy you may not have experienced since your early twenties or even your teens. I think you will be very pleasantly surprised by the improvement you get.
We were fortunate enough to come runner-up in the CAM Awards 2009 for Outstanding Practice. We have been trying hard to maintain this standard ever since, and have worked hard to provide our patients with the best possible cutting-edge help, advice and information.
